Due to Firestorm, 2007 and the week long closure of all San Diego City Schools, the Bay Park Elementary Halloween Carnival is cancelled for this Saturday, October 27th.
 
This decision was based on not only the regard of the well being of all, but how all of our volunteer base is of course focusing on much broader and personal challenges this week. The decision was in majority by the PTA Board and our Principal.
 
However....since I have never been known to turn my back on a party (and a major fundraising opportunity) We will be having a Spring Carnival in it's place. All that has been purchased can be redirected and Leslie, I and the entire PTA will provide a great - spring - community Carnival in 2008. Details will be worked on in the next few months and then communicated.
